Late John (Jack) Donoghue.

The peaceful death took place at his home on Wednesday May 1st and surrounded by his loving family, of John (Jack) Donoghue, Ballymacegan, Lorrha.
John was a quiet individual who farmed all his life and was a keen and superb judge of livestock. His regular trips to all the surrounding cattle marts brought him in contact with loads of people that he grew to know over the years. He was a familiar figure on the roads around the parish, in no rush or hurry, having time for a chat with those he met up with along his journey. He was a good neighbour and a great friend to many and will be fondly remembered as a quiet and unassuming gentleman. So many will miss him now from life, but in particular, those who will miss him the most are his family.
Predeceased by his parents Bill & Anna May, sister Pauline, brothers P.J. and Eugene, he is very sadly missed by his brother Liam, sisters Collette and  Ena, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, neighbours and many friends to whom sympathy is offered.
After funeral Mass in St. Ruadhan’s Church, Lorrha on Saturday 4th. burial took place in the adjoining cemetery. May he rest in peace.
