Giving For Christmas – Shoe Box Appeal.
Lorrha National School pupils pictured here with their Annual Team Hope Christmas Shoe Box’s for children less fortunate than themselves. Every year the Lorrha school pupils respond positively to this very worthy cause and show their great giving nature believing that sharing is caring. This year 2014 Team Hope are planning that shoeboxes from Ireland will go to street children, orphans, children in hospital, poor families, victims of war or other needy situations in Eastern Europe and former Soviet Union and Africa.

Members of Lorrha Development / Tidy Towns with the Co-Operation of Lorrha School pupils, staff and parents carried out the Annual Spring Clean of the village on April 9th.
