Lorrha Development/Tidy Towns.

From June 1st onwards, Tidy Towns judges have been visiting towns and villages unannounced to cast their critical eyes over the efforts of hard working voluntary committees, and their scheme workers, where they will award marks in the competition. Lorrha Development / Tidy Towns have been exceptionally busy since May, sowing, repairing, painting, weeding, litter picking and cleaning in preparation for the judges’ visit. The work continues and also includes watering flowers throughout the village, and if you would like to give a hand at anything, please call (086) 8647166 / (087) 2601413  or any member of the committee. We need the help and co-operation of every resident to improve our marks so it would greatly help our efforts if every resident kept the area outside their premises free from weeds and litter. Your support is much appreciated.
