Lorrha/Dorrha

Goat Farm Cottage.

Ballymacegan Goat Farm is a family run goat dairy farm near the village of Lorrha, North Tipperary. On our farm you will find not only goats but also horses, ponies, hens, cats, honey bees and Freddy our dog. Over the last few years we have restored one of the old buildings back to it's original state and part of it has been converted into a self-catering cottage. It has one large family bedroom with two double beds and one single bed which sleep 2-5 persons, a kitchen/living room area and toilet/shower room. Guests will receive a guided tour on the farm and will be able to experience life on a farm surrounded by the magnificent views of the area. The cottage offers an excellent base to explore the area, to go for walks, fishing in the Shannon or visit the historic buildings which are plentiful in the area.
Stay in a tastefully restored old stone farm building which can be booked for self-catering holidays suitable for couples, small groups or families on our goat dairy farm where we milk 200 goats.
Goat Farm Cottage Ballymacegan, Lorrha, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary are offering SPECIAL DISCOUNT OFFER for the June Lorrha and Dorrha Heritage Festival.
