In the event that people cannot play then Greens or Tee Boxes can be sponsored. Or indeed any form of help towards the building costs will be greatly appreciated.

Portumna Social Services Committee are a voluntary group with charitable status which runs a Day Care Centre in Portumna for Senior Citizens. They also operate their own Mini-bus service to bring the elderly to the Centre for meals and social activities. The purpose of the fundraiser is to provide a badly needed extension to the Day Room. The catchment area for those attending from North Tipperary is Rathcabbin Lorrha and Terryglass areas.
