Pakie Brings All-Ireland Title To The Parish

All-Ireland Loy Success.

Pakie O’Brien Rathcabbin proudly holds the All-Ireland cup for the third time for loy digging at Junior level which he won at the National ploughing championships in Athy two weeks ago. Winning the title in 1995 he repeated the success again in 1997. However in between the cup has gone to Westmeath Sligo Cavan Kilkenny and Donegal to mention just a few Counties it has visited. Despite stiff competition and a very difficult site to dig the experience shone and Pakie was declared the 2009 all-Ireland champion.
