Lorrha Notes

The two Lorrha men, Denis Maher and his neighbour Tommy Houlihan who cycled from Malin to Mizen in aid of Pieta House, covered an amazing 621km over seven days. The men were accompanied on their journey by Stephen Houlihan (Tommy’s nephew) who providing back up supplies. Back home since Thursday last and enjoying a well deserved rest, Denis and Thomas are delighted with the response they have received from the public towards their cycle by offering free food and drinks along the way and by donating to this very worthy cause. If you would like to donate you can do so on idonate.ie/thomas-denis. Follow them too on facebook at Thomas & Denis Cycle Malin to Mizen Head in Aid of Pieta House. Their target of €2000 has so far passed all their expectations for which the men are thankful for. A whopping €6,735 has been donated to date and if you would like to add your name to the list, you can still do so and the page will stay open for the next few weeks. Well done lads.
