North Tipp Ploughing News.

The recent North Tipperary ploughing Christmas party night which took place in The Yanks Borrisokane, was once again well attended. Chairman Ray Clancy thanked everyone for their attendance and all at the Yanks for another fine meal. The chairman congratulated former secretary Laura McKenna on the birth of her baby – Paul, who made a brief appearance on the night, and he extended good wishes to former treasurer Eddie Flynn, Rodeen and Elvina McDermott, Listowel, who were married in Duagh Church, Co. Kerry. ‘Eddie is away in the sun on his honeymoon’ said Ray, ‘and he isn’t thinking of ploughing right now’ he said. In conclusion he wished everyone a great Christmas and a good new year and everyone will be notified of a meeting early in the new year.
