Lorrha Notes

The second All Ireland  in six days came to Tipp when the u20 squad beat Cork in the final 5.17 to 1.18.

A Week to Remember.
All roads led to Croke Park on August 18th commencing with the senior hurlers and management, bringing back the Liam McCarthy cup to the county after they beat Kilkenny in the final 3.25 to 0.20, Tipp’s 28th All Ireland and a third under the management of Liam Sheedy. Six days later, and all roads led to LIT Gaelic grounds in Limerick to watch the u20 team and management produce a blistering performance to win a second All-Ireland and this time against Cork on a score line of 5-17 to 1-18 and take the James Nowlan cup back to the county. This is a fifth time that the senior and u-20 double has been won and what a wonderful time it has been. Certainly a week to remember for everyone in the Premier county.
