St. Ruadhan’s Active Retirement.
We had a most enjoyable Bealtaine Day recently as we were entertained by the story of the “Six Mary’s” a one act play performed by Jean Farrell. The narration and singing throughout was excellent.
Members from Carrig and Portumna attended as well as people from the locality. We extend our sincere sympathy to Mary Darcy and family on the death of her beloved husband Jimmy and also sympathy to the family of Dorothy Stanley who dies recently. May they rest in peace.
Sympathy is extended to the Mahon families Lorrha and O’Meara families Rathcabbin and extended family members on the death of Sean Mahon’s daughter Shirley, which occurred on Sunday May 20th in England just five months after the death of her mother Susan. Burial will take place in London on Saturday next June 2nd. May she rest in peace. Sympathy is also extended to Sandra O’Meara, formerly Ross, Rathcabbin and her daughters and extended family on the death of her husband Laurence Connolly which occurred in England.
