Our Bishop elect – Fr. Fintan Monaghan will be ordained Bishop of Killaloe on Sunday September 25th in the Cathedral, Ennis.  He has informed us that he will be willing to administer the Sacrament of Confirmation in this parish in 2017.  But if we agree to this invitation we must be willing to accept the date he will announce as he will be extremely busy in his first year as Pastor,  or instead, if we wish, he will come to the parish on a pastoral visit meeting the children and the people.  If that be the situation, the priest of the parish will administer the sacrament as we have done in previous years.  If you have an opinion on this matter, please let it be known to Fr. Pat on or before this coming Wednesday 14th September.
