Please Note: Mass on Sunday, July 17th will be at 10.00a.m. in Rathcabbin Church and 11.30a.m. in Lorrha Church. This is to facilitate traffic arrangements for the Lorrha Country Fest in Moatfield.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament continues every Thursday from 10am to 10pm Rathcabbin Church. We invite all parishioners to come and stay a while in the presence of Jesus.
Gun License Reminder.
Gardai wish to remind all gun owners in the parish to renew their firearms license. An unlicensed firearm is illegal and holders of such is liable for prosecution. You can call to the Garda station in Borrisokane where you will receive help and advise with the filling out of the form should you need it.
Summer De-Clutter.
When cleaning out your wardrobe to make room for the summer collection, please remember Lorrha Development/Tidy Towns who continue to collect unwanted clothes throughout the year. Items of clothing must be clean and dry and in good condition please and we can supply bags if you want. We can also collect to make it easy for you, just call (086) 8647166, (086) 8493595 or (087) 2601413 with your name and details. Please note we cannot accept Duvets, bedding, household linen, pillows, cushions, carpets, rugs and maths including bath toilet and shower math’s, soiled or wet clothing. All money raised from all fundraising ventures is used for the ongoing work around Lorrha Village which helps to keep two adults employed. Many thanks for your continued support.

A Feast of Country.
Lorrha GAA club host a feast of country music this Sunday July 17th. Mike Denver, Robert Mizzell, Louise Morrissey, The Conquerors, Johnny Brady, Pete Kennedy, Sean Slattery & The Connections and local band Tradstone will entertain the crowds from 12pm to 7pm for just €20. There will be dancing area, seating, food and plenty of parking for up to 3500 fans. Junior Hurling: Lorrha will begin their Junior ‘B’ Championship campaign away to Templederry on Saturday 16th July at 7.30pm. Subsequent games will be home to Newport, away to Moneygall and home to Ballina with the top three teams in the group progressing to the knockout stages.
Minor: Lorrha Rovers Gaels begin their Minor ‘B’ Championship campaign this evening, Wednesday 13th July in Ballinderry against Silvermines at 7.30pm. Best of luck to the players and mentors. Next Wednesday, 20th July, they are away to Ballinahinch/Templederry.
Under 16: Lorrha Rovers began their U16 ‘A’ Hurling Championship away to Nenagh Eire Og last Monday week and enjoyed an excellent 1-14 to 1-4 win. Last Monday they played Roscrea in Ballinderry and were defeated 2-19 to 2-12. Next Monday they play Toomevara in Ballinderry at 6.30pm
Under 14: Lorrha Rovers made it six wins from six in the championship with a 4-10 to 0-4 win over Burgess last Wednesday. They received a walkover this week from Borris-Ileigh and have ended the group stages unbeaten and through to the semi-finals.
Under 12: Lorrha have now topped their group in the ‘C’ championship and have progressed to the semi-finals which will be played in the coming weeks.
Tipperary: Well done to Patrick Maher, Brian Hogan, John Madden and both the Tipperary senior and minor hurling teams on their superb Munster Final victories in Limerick on Sunday Best of luck to Brian Hogan and the Tipperary Under 21 hurling team in the Munster semi-final against Limerick in Thurles on Thursday evening.

Tipperary Clubs Draw: The July Draw was held last Friday and unfortunately the club didn’t have prize winner this month.
