Lorrha Development /Tidy Towns.

In less than four weeks time judging in the National Tidy Towns takes place. From June 1st onwards the National Tidy Towns judges will be visiting towns and villages unannounced that have entered this competition. The hard work of so many volunteers and of our scheme workers will be examined and marked under ten different categories. Lorrha is usually visited around the middle of the month. We ask everyone to be extra vigilant where litter is concerned and please use bins provided in the village. Despite recent bad weather the committee continue their work especially in the new park which will be officially opened to the public on June 12th. Over the next couple of weeks the committee will be planting summer bedding plants around the village and will need extra willing helping hands. If you can help please call 086 8647166 or any committee member.
