Tidy Towns Results.

Congratulations and well done to all who have helped once again to bring Lorrha Village up a further two points in the recent Tidy Towns adjudication. This competition is becoming more and more challenging every year and with some categories amalgamated in the entry form this year, it makes for more awareness and work on small groups. Emphasis too have changed to Wildlife, Habitats and Natural Amenities with Sustainable Waste and Resource Management along with Community Involvement and Planning up there with the high mark catchers. While litter control, build environment, landscaping etc. is all there too not just to be kept year after year but to be improved upon, the whole adjudication process is becoming far more demanding. With that in mind, Lorrha have done very well again this year and the committee wish to extend thanks to all who have helped in whatever way with a special word of thanks to our scheme workers throughout the year, John, Michael and David.

Smile Awhile & Laugh A Little Every Day.

The day he moved out was terrible –    That evening was hell.     His absence wasn’t a problem      But the corkscrew had gone as well.
