Late Michael Redden.

The death occurred on Friday October 8th. of Mikie Redden Ballincur Lorrha after a short illness.
Mikie witnessed many changes throughout his 81 years on the earth but he made the most of everyday enjoying the simple things in life. A familiar figure on the road with his donkey and car or on the bicycle as he made his way to check out his stock while he was farming he was indeed happy with his lot. At night he would walk the two miles to the village with his fluorescent jacket visible for all to see to have a drink but most of all to have the chat with the locals who gathered in Pat’s pub as they discussed the weeks happenings both Nationally and locally. Mikie was a quiet cheerful individual who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
