Long Tail Competition Results

Memorial Long Tail Results.

A large crowd gathered in the Last Chance Rathcabbin on Sunday night last for the results of the P.J. Gorman and Eddie Clancy Memorial Long Tail competition results. After all the pheasants caught were measured the results were: 1st. longest tail went to Martin Gillane (Portumna) who received the perpetual cup. In second place was Jack Maher (Rathcabbin) In 3rd. place was John Gorman (Portumna) 4th. went to Martin Hoary (Portumna) 5th. Jimmy Dwyer (Rathcabbin) and the last prize was for who ever caught the smallest cock pheasant and that was Owen Clancy (Rathcabbin). Well done all.
