Lorrha Notes

Sean O’Meara Cullagh Rathcabbin is very proud of this enormous head of cabbage which surely must be the biggest head of cabbage ever to be sown in Ireland.  Sown from a seed "Wheelers Imperial"  it is almost 4ft. high and the same in width. It’s one year old and withstood the severe winter where at times temperatures plunged to minue 16 degrees. Well done Sean.

Smile Awhile.

An priest is driving down to New York and gets stopped for speeding in Connecticut. The state trooper smells alcohol on the priest’s breath and then sees an empty wine bottle on the floor of the car.
He says ‘Sir have you been drinking?’

‘Just water’ says the priest.

The trooper says ‘Then why do I smell wine?’

The priest looks at the bottle and says ‘Good Lord! He’s done it again!
