Talks on the Eucharist.

Fr Gerard McCarthy will give a series of talks on the Eucharist. He will explain the meaning of the different parts of the Mass, how to participate in it and allow it to affect our lives on November, 12th, 19th & 26th at 7.30pm in Pastoral Centre, Nenagh.   Contact, Srs. Fun Obstacle Course.

Mucky Runners Fun Obstacle Course in Portumna Forest Park on October Bank Holiday Monday 27th of October. This year all proceeds are going to Portumna Football Club.

Following on from last year’s very successful Mucky Runners Fun Obstacle Course this year promises to be better and muckier! Obstacles include log jumps, chikane maze, pond walk, scramble nets, swamp surprise,  intricate spiders webs, slides, dark tunnels and much, much more!  Registration is in the Forest Car Park from 11.30am to 12.30 and the Race starts at 1pm sharp.  Individuals are €20, Groups of 4 are €70 and Juniors are €10 (Juniors 12yrs – 18yrs with parental consent only) There will be prizes for First Places and Medals for all participants including complimentary post race refreshments.  There will also be a challenging Mucky Ducks For Kidz Fun Obstacles Course for 6yrs to 12yrs. Obstacles will include log jumps, slides, scramble nets, tunnels and lots more surprises! Entry is €5 and includes free face painting and a lollipop!

It will be a great day out in the great outdoors for all the family. There will be an inflatable obstacle bouncy course and castles for children to play on at a small fee. There will also be vendors with yummy offerings including chocolate crepes, hotdogs and popcorn for a well deserved post race treat!

Autumn De-Clutter.

Lorrha Development/ Tidy Towns continue with unused clothes collection throughout the Autumn months. De-clutter your wardrobe, attack your attic, recycle all unwanted/unused items of clothing to make room for your Autumn collection. We will accept any kind of bag or in bags provided by the committee. We can collect your unwanted items. Just call or text  (086) 8647166, (086) 8493595 or (086) 8355405 with your name and details. We appreciate your support. All money raised from all fundraising ventures is used for the ongoing work around Lorrha Village which helps to keep three adults employed.

Parent & Toddler Groups.

The Lorrha and Rathcabbin Parent, Toddler & Baby Groups are planning a Walk in Portumna Forest on Thursday 23rd October at 10.30am, followed by teas/coffees.
