Vigil For Life.

The National Vigil for life will take place on Saturday 3rd May from 3 to 4pm in Merrion Square, Dublin. Your participation will show that pro-life people, far from losing heart, are re-energised and more committed than ever.

 Anniversary Re-Union.

To mark the 75th anniversary of the Redwood N.S. a reunion will be held for all past pupils on Sat, 07th June. It will commence with an open school during the day from 3 – 4pm to view roll books, photos etc. A special mass will be held in Redwood Church at 7pm and buffet dance at 9.30p.m. in Moatfield with music by Pat & Richie followed by Tradstone. Eamon O’ Dywer will also be in attendance with Tipp FM down your way.Tickets €10.00 are on sale now or available on the night. All are welcome!!

Spring De-Clutter.

Lorrha Development/ Tidy Towns continue with unused clothes collection throughout the Spring months. De-clutter your wardrobe, attack your attic, recycle all unwanted/unused items of clothing to make room for your Spring collection. We will accept any kind of bag or in bags provided by the committee at (086) 8647166. We can collect your unwanted items. All money raised from all fundraising ventures is used for the ongoing  work around Lorrha Village which helps to keep three adults employed.

 Fundraising Cycle.

Three  Charity Fundraising Cycles (30km, 60km, & 120km) are taking place on Sunday 4th May to purchase a much needed hydrotherapy pool for St. Dympna’s in Portumna. Registration is from 8am in the Engine Room, leaving the Town Square at  9am sharp. All details are on www.loughdergcycle.com . All donations gratefully accepted. Please come along and support.

 Camogie.

Junior A League:

They are now through to the League Semi final after having 4 wins from 5. They play this coming Sunday the 4th of May. Opposition or venue not known yet. Please come & support the girls. Best of Luck to the team and management.

U16 C Championship:
The Lorrha girls play their first round of the U16 Championship this coming Thursday against Shannon Rovers in Ballinderry at 7pm. Best of Luck to the girls.

U12 League:
Hard Luck to the Lorrha girls who played a strong Roscrea side on Saturday, the young panel of girls will only improve from these matches. The girls play Kildangan this Wednesday in Moatfield at 7pm. Best of Luck to the girls.
