Mass Times For Winter Months.

In Lorrha Church on Sundays at 10.00a.m. Rathcabbin on Sundays at 11.30a.m.      unchanged. The Vigil Mass in Redwood  will be at 7.30p.m.  –   commencing  Saturday, 2nd November.

St. Ruadhan’s Active Retirement.

We are now back to our regular meetings on Wednesdays and if you would like to join us and take part in our activities, please come along any Wednesday to Lorrha Community Hall from 2.30. All new members welcome.

Please note the date and venue for our night at the greyhound races has changed from Thursday, 14th November to Saturday 16th November.  The venue is now Limerick.  Names are being taken at the moment for this outing and should anyone wish to join us on this trip, please contact Nancy on 087 761 3458 or Betty on 087 666 7374 or Tim on 087 755 8762 as soon as possible as final arrangements need to be made.

Lorrha Development / Tidy Towns.

Lorrha Development are holding a meeting on Wednesday night October 23rd at 8pm in the hall. Top of the agenda will be to plan the forthcoming Christmas Market and Auction. We extend thanks to all who contributed to the unwanted clothes collection and we continue with collections over the winter months. If you wish to have bags collected call or text  (086) 8493595/ (086) 8647166/ (087) 2601413 with your name and details.

We will accept any kind of bag or in bags provided by the committee. We appreciate your support and the money raised goes back into the ongoing work around Lorrha village.

Commiserations.

We extend commiserations to Lorrha Junior camogie girls and management on their loss in the County Final on Sunday last. Lorrha served up a gallant display but were unfortunate to see the game slip away from their grasp in the second half. Hard luck girls.

Date For Your Diary.

Lorrha National School Parents Association are holding a fundraising dance in the GAA clubhouse in Moatfield on Saturday 2nd November at 10p.m. Music will be provided by “Outa Diesel”. Door prizes of TV’s and a hamper. Great music, great door prizes, and only €10 admission. Tickets can be had by contacting (087) 9191689 / (087) 2984226. This is one night you won’t want to miss.
