Well Done.
Congratulations is extended to Catherine O’Meara Curragha who won a Munster Junior Camogie medal with Tipperary when the side beat Limerick recently in the final. Catherine is also on the Intermediate panel who recorded a great win over Kilkenny on Saturday last in the opening round of the Championship. Well done Catherine.
Pilgrimage.
The Annual Killaloe Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine takes place on Sunday July 5th. under the leadership of Bishop Willie Walsh and organised by the Legion of Mary. New Arrivals.
Congratulations and best wishes is extended to Emily and Mike Hogan Ballymacegan on the birth of their baby son. A brother for Lisa Tracy Aaron and Michaela and to Sarah Lewis and Padro Riberio Rathcabbin on the birth of their son Piedro. Well done to both families.
Open to the Public.
The lovely historical Redwood Castle is now open to the public daily during the month’s of July and August.
Sympathy.
Sympathy is extended to Bill Reddish and family Ballyea on the death of his sister Mary Mahony Banagher which occurred last week to the family and relatives of Celia Daly late of Ballymacegan who died in New York recently and to Martin Kennedy Rathcabbin and family on the death of his uncle Bernard Loonam Taylors Cross which occurred last week. May their Souls rest in peace.
First Friday.
This coming Friday July 3rd. is the First Friday of the month. Mass will be celebrated in Lorrha at 9.30 a.m. and in Rathcabbin at 8.00p.m. Confessions half an hour before Mass.
