Lorrha Development Association.
There was a great response to the work morning on Thursday morning last and a lot of great work got done. Thanks to all who came out. It’s great to see that people are keeping the area outside their doors so clean too. Well done and keep it up please. Photo’s For Calendar.
Anyone with photo’s that they feel would be suitable for inclusion in the 2010 parish calendar are asked to please contact any member of the committee. Photo’s can be collected and will be returned. The proceeds from the calendar is used to help keep the village looking so well by purchasing plants flowers tubs paint etc. with volunteers giving their time free of charge.
Open to the Public.
The lovely historical Redwood Castle is now open to the public daily during the month’s of July and August.
Energy Efficiency.
Information sessions on serve energy and grant scheme which are for energy efficiency and renewable energy measures are now available from North Tipp. County Council. Information sessions for interested homeowners will take place on Wednesday 8th. July at 7.30p.m. in Borrisokane and Thursday 9th. July at 7.30p.m. in the Abbey Court Hotel Nenagh. A.G.M.
Lorrha / Rathcabbin Gun club are holding their A.G.M. this Friday night the 10th. at 9.00p.m. in St. Ruadhan’s Community Hall Lorrha. All are welcome.
Senior Win.
Well done to Lorrha senior hurlers who beat Moneygall in the Division 2 final in Borrisokane on Sunday last. It’s good to see another cup come to the parish.
Course.
Offaly County Enterprise Board is running a course on how to sustain your business which will be a three evening programme on Wednesday 8th 15th. and 22nd.
