History Making Head Of Cabbage.

Sean O’Meara from Cullagh has been a very keen gardener all of his life and never before has he seen not to mention sowing such a large head of cabbage as is now growing in his back garden. Sean bought his plants from his neighbour Pakie O’Brien last September 2008 and Pakie in turn had grown the plants from a pack of seeds. A spring cabbage “Wheelers Imperial” has grown to complete with leaves to two and a half ft in height as well as two and a half ft. in width approx. and is a fine firm head of cabbage that would fill a lot of empty stomach’s. Surely this is a record? If anyone knows of cabbage that grew bigger than what Sean has call (086) 8647166 and we’ll give it a mention here. Well done Sean.
