Lorrha Gain 5.

While the tidy towns report gave our village an extra five marks in this years competition there is so much more room for improvement which is clearly spelled out in the adjudication report a copy of which can be picked up in Mahers shop. The condition of the back of the lovely Grotto has once again raised it’s head in the report. Also mentioned is the untidy gate entrances to the two fields beside and opposite the hall. However the report is welcoming and pleasant and we are delighted and encouraged by many remarks that were made. Congratulations and well done to everyone involved. The adjudication took place on June 23rd. unfortunately before members of Lorrha Development got down to the painting tasks around the village which if had been completed would have increased our marks even further.
